What wedding favors should I use? And how?

Here are the ideas I threw around ... (The wedding is September 6th, 2008) - single stem of bamboo shoots of herbs in small pots - Linen notebooks covered with a cloth counterpart PEN-covered mini photo albums - live evergreens holders etched glass votive candle I want something eco friendly relatively cheap, we have 140 people coming to the wedding ... Also another question - do you need a favor for each guest, or each couple? Do I need 140 favors, favors or 70?

All your ideas are really beautiful. Typically (at least all the weddings I went) there is a benefit to each site - which would amount to 140. If you have seats, you can then put you back in and RSVP by how much couples are seated at this table. This way, you would be able to obtain up to 1 favor per couple. You could also use the favors in the context of the piece and only make enough for 1 / 2 guests (assuming they all bring a guest) and make an announcement favors that are eco friendly and for each pair, please make a house to appreciate.
