And flickering candle ideas for a tiki hut out there?

I give up maybe someone out there has an idea I can use. I have 7 lanterns in a tiki hut, the opening under the bottom of each individual lantern has a hole of 1 and 1/2″ diameter, they measure 3″ tall. I would like to put flickering lights in each one, I know there are flickering candles, tea lights, battery operated (I don’t want to have to turn each one off and on each time pain in the neck) and there are tapered candles (wont fit in lantens) I have also looked up solar lights to much wiring. There are flameless candle pool lights with timers built in but they are to tall and wide. There are also candles with built in solar panels built right in these wont’ work they cannot charge because the lanterns are hung up inside the dark tiki hut roof……..Any ideas would be appreciated. What would be nice is to have these flameless pool candles but very small……

How-to: Realistic Electric Flickering Pillar Candles

Touring The Darkness haunt in St. Louis I came across super-realistic pillar candles that are electric so no need to change batteries. Unfortunately, the manufacturer (Enjoy Lighting) doesn’t make the pillar version any longer. That started my search to see what else was out there. In the search, I discovered that Enjoy Lighting (Enchanted Lighting) still has the 3 incandescent grain bulb circuit array that I loved in their Outdoor Lanterns. So, I grabbed a set and hacked them into pillar candles. Success! Here’s my how-to.

I would like to purchase wholesale, imitation candles which have a flickering flame run by small, flat battery

Card with candles reads “Lasting Light”. Realistic flickering light continuously burns for 14 days, battery operated by 2 AAA batteries. Tea light size uses watch or hearing aid battery.

how do I build battery operated flickering candles?

I have a Halloween Party for my kids this Friday, Years ago I saw some battery operated flickering candles using a AA battery inside a 1/2 or 3/4 in PVC pipe which was painted to resemble a candle. It was then placed in a standard candle holder. Some times these are used on stage.

I know these can be bought, but I also know they can be built by a DIYer…

…So anyone know how to build one of these. I have good soldering skills so don’t hold out for fear I can’t do that.
