The jar might end up cracking and making a mess.
I use scented oils with diffuser reeds. Much safer, no fire.
Yes, I’ve done this many times.
Edit: I am assuming you mean one of those warmer plates made for scented candles and not a cooking warmer or one of those light bulb things.
In a jar??
NO! Never! Nada! Nyet! La! Please do you get the idea? Some glass is not, repeat not, ideal for being heated that way. Don’t take chances! Please use the appropriate container and the appropriate product. Safety first, Always! Especially with things being burned/heated/warmed with a flame or even electricity.
Yes. They make special candle warmers for jar candles. I have one warming in my house 24/7 (yes, even at night and when I’m not home). You just need to put it where it won’t get bumped or knocked over and make sure that the cord is also hidden out of harms way. They even have decorative rings to put around the warmers so you only see the fancy ring and the candle.
They make special warmers for that. You can get them pretty much anywhere that they have candles. Have you tried Scenty? I recently got one and it is awesome! You purchase them from a consultant. It is a warmer that you plug in and put these wax type bricks in the warmer. They melt be the heat from a small light bulb that is under the warmer. The scents are amazing.. Check it out scentsy.com. I don’t sell them just love them!!
